This message will not follow in Swedish. This one is for you Annie.
Today is countdown day!
Our friend Kim is on her way. All day she is on her way. Countdown started this morning at 7 when we got up. This is when she got on her plane. And there she is now. There she will be for quite a while.
Meanwhile I’ve been starting this day off:
I was at the mall right when it opened.
I tried on four pairs of jeans and bought one. I have no idea if they fit well, while trying them on I was chasing a fugitive. Not to bore you with all the details, let me just say I was at certain points happy that I was the only one in the dressing room area… She kept opening my door. When I managed to keep it closed by balancing on one leg and holding the door with the other leg, she saw her way out underneath the door. Which I guess is good, I like creative solutions especially from my kids.
After that we went to Friskis & Svettis. I have a slight memory of bringing a certain American friend there once… It is a very Swedish way of exercising, that’s for sure. I always go on Wednesday lunch class because they have ladies watching the kids then. Little E (that is her name here in the blog) likes being there but today she was a bit mad at first because the usual overload of toys wasn’t prepared. Shortly after our arrival it was well taken care of and I could go to my class. She hardly looked at me when I got back in there an hour later.
Going home in the car, she fell asleep in two seconds. This means I am on a break!
Which just ended I hear. “Mamma, mamma, mamma” from the bedroom. I am quite sure I don’t need to translate that.
After lunch, shower and picking Big E up at preschool, we are going wine shopping. It is a great excursion with kids.
Tack för oss!
